Day 1Arrival from Airport/Railway Station, transfer to the hotel, overnight stay
Day 2Early morning we drive to Assi ghat where first we witness a special ritual of welcoming the Lord Surya(the sun god) performed by apprentice boy and girl priests, then we start a boat ride trip to see various activities on different ghats. after this we have a brief walking tour through the narrow lanes of the ancient city. Back to hotel. After Breakfast we visit some important temples of Varanasi followed by the excursion to Sarnath, the famous Buddhist site where the Buddha had preached his first sermon. Now we have optional break for lunch/ shopping before proceeding to the old city and then the main ghat for taking part into famous Ganga Arati. Back to hotel.
